President Bush Welcomes Seven Nations to the NATO Alliance In
a White House ceremony on Monday, President Bush welcomed the
seven nations of Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania,
Slovakia and Slovenia into the ranks of the NATO alliance.
President Discusses Strong Economy, Homeownership in Radio
Address
In his weekly
radio address President Bush said, "This week brought good news
about homeownership in America. The Census Bureau reported that
new home sales in February rose to an annual pace of 1.16
million homes, a 24 percent increase over the past year."

March 29, 2004. The countries acceding to the alliance are
Latvia, Slovenia, Lithuania, the Slovak Republic, Romania,
